Who Qualifies for a Free NHS Home Eye Test?
You may be eligible if any of the following apply:
👵 You’re aged 60 or over
💉 You have diabetes or glaucoma
💰 You receive certain benefits, such as:
• Income Support
• Universal Credit
• Pension Credit (Guarantee Credit)👁️ You’re registered as blind or partially sighted
🏡 You live in a care home or have mobility issues that make it difficult to visit a high street optician

Yes, so long as the eye test was done recently, then we can supply you with prescription glasses. However, we generally advise that if your current prescription is over 6 months old, then it is best to have a new eye test done so that any possible changes in your vision can be allowed for.

After the eye test has be done, we try to deliver glasses 2-3 weeks after being ordered.

If you struggle to attend an opticians without help, then you may qualify for an eye test at home. To find out the criteria call 07854401178.

Unless, you struggle with attending an opticians without help, you will not qualify for an NHS funded eye test. However, we will be happy to arrange a private eye test at home for you. The fee for a private eye test at home is £45.
